The best route to Surry Hills is through the Rocks, along Circular

Quay, and up Macquarie St. Quite safe.

This is the main, and probably only problem. The Bicycle Institute of

NSW is based in Surry Hills so presumably they might have a suggestion

if you talked to them.

I keep a suit jacket, ties and trousers in a locker at work. The

trousers are rotated through a dry cleaner on George St on a regular

basis. Shirts fold quite nicely into a backpack. I carry a roll-up

swimmers towel and assorted dhobi gear in the back pack. Combined

weight of the backpack is under 1Kg.

Of course you do. Bikes are clean nowadays with teflon based chain

lubricant and not much grease. The bikes can go in your spare room or

or computer room in the corner no problems. If you get completely

carried away you can put an old sheet over your carpet.



I've seen better excuses from the anti-pointers!
