RCA has VCR units made by Matsushita (Panasonic) - usually recent
production from Japan, Hitachi - older units and a facility in Korea
which might be Samsung.  I have a 2 newer Matsushita based RCA units and
they perform like the 2 Panasonics I have although the programming logic
as well as features are not identical - RCA's have 1 year programming
while Panasonics have 1 month.  RCA's are only 2 speeds while the
Panasonics are 3 speeds.
