Hiya Errol!

Er, that should be $d418, shouldn't it? ;)

Not true. Is you use the sustain nybble instead of the volume nybble you
can achieve effective fade-outs.

Difficult? How about *impossible*? The majority of SID registers are write
only. A solution to this is to read this data out of the SID-player (most
store it internally before putting it into the SID). Basically you need a
fully intergrated SID/Sample routine for it to work properly.

Hmm, I connected up a seperate push button to mine, and I can just reset
the drive without affecting the computer at all! I also have an NTSC/PAL
switch, and some LED's signalling the status of the serial port.

Hmm, I hesitate to put a date on that. Should be 1-2 months (Moonlight will
be coming out tri-monthly, er, quarterly).

Halleluyah! He has seen the light! =)

Hmm, well I can give you some source to a few better routines than the R.
Hubbard one... like JCH's, or DMC. I'll be writing one of my own one day
(after the Mag, and everything else I'm supposed to do :)

Yup, Bacchus is in Fairlight... he's the leader in fact. ;)

At a guess you have the equivilant of "USENET" access, which
means no FTP or IRC :( I can get some info on various Internet feeds in NSW
if you like...?

Okey Doke! Cya.
