Well the guy next door is knowledgable in Windows operating systems and says all these new inexpensive releases such as XP are system resource gluttons. Hey, go to an internet search engine that's what I did and still found plenty of information about 1993 - 94 Packard Bell motherboards. This is the only way I was able to setup this system and will be how I attack the Pentium I salvaged as well. I even have .JPG images of the motherboard and jumper locations to go along with the text! I want to upgrade the processor in the Pentium as I'm certain it will be cheap and doable but not before I know what I'm doing beforehand. JP> I might experiment a little here. Wish me JP> GudLuk. Good luck but take some advice and check out resources available on the net too! --- MultiMail/MS-DOS v0.42* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:275/311) SEEN-BY: 10/345 24/903 106/1 120/544 123/500 132/500 275/311 633/104 260 262 SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 285 634/383 640/954 690/682 774/605 2432/200 @PATH: 275/311 10/345 106/1 123/500 774/605 633/260 285 267 |
