That would be a state matter, but this raid was conducted by the Feds on
the direct order of Bill Clinton. Thier request to make this a custody
issue was declined and they used the excuse that Elian was an "illegal
alian" as justification, which is not only a stretch but in clear
contridiction to the spirit of the 11th District Court's ruling granting
Elian the right to have his asylum farily judged prior to flinging him back
to Cuba.
I must say, until you understand the reality that there were two puppet
masters behind this curtain (Clinton-Fidel), you defenders of this armed
raid are going to continue these bizarre leaps for justification while
missing the larger forces in play that brought it all about.
You, I can understand. Rich is a little surprising though... he usually
tends to be far less inclined to be set up in this way.
