subject: CSet/2++ debugging problem

Hallo All,
        Is anybody out there who can help me? I got a strange problem with
the CSet debugger. I was debugging an application step by step, and when
execution jumped in what I believed a very simple function, the impossible
happened:
        VOID GetSensors( VOID );
        {
         if( !(NumBoxes = CData.sens[i].ActiveSensors ))
         {
          WinMessageBox( HWND_TOP, 0L,(PSZ)"No active sensors",
                         NULL, 0L,
                         MB_OK | MB_MOVEABLE | MB_ICONEXCLAMATION );
          NumBoxes = 3;
         }
        }
NumBoxes is a global variable; CData is a great struct globally allocated
at startup. (OK, it's not beautiful, but it works ) The execution enters
the function, finds NumBoxes = 0, performs the WinMessageBox ... jumps back
to if statement, performs the WinMessageBox ... jumps back to if statement,
and so on. 13 times! Every time I try to debug the function, it happens
again! If I let the program run, it has no problem at all.
        What's going on? Is it a fault of me? I hope some one will help me.

thanks,
         Alessandro Tripiccione
