The sale does nothing to your existing OS/2 hardware.

I and others have expressed our opinions on what the future effects will
be on OS/2 hardware.  Rather than posting noise, I recommend you read the
posts, express your reasoned opinions and then make up your own mind.

If IBM's stock price is how you define whether or not the sale was a good
idea, the market believes it was a good idea.  Of course, I doubt IBMs
stock price has any effect on IBM OS/2 hardware support, but I'm sure you
know that too.
