Countries like Russia, China and a few select European countries
observe their kids at an early age, try and determine what sport
they'll be good at, and train them for the rest of their childhood to
excel in that sport.  I think its disgusting.

You are suggesting that people not perfectly cut out for their
_chosen_ jobs should be forced into other less demanding jobs, or in
one message, practically have a whipman stand over them to make sure
they're running at peak productivity.

If an employer wants to turn a blind eye to its employees slackness or
unsuitability to the job, then so be it IMO.  It's a free world.  If
they go out of business, then you'll know why.
