Hi Martin,

Thanks for all the trouble, but you've mixed up RAR [archiving program] 
with RAREAD.EXE and RAWRITE.EXE.

In the case of the specific versions for OS/2 [by Bob Eager] that were 
being referred to:

RAREAD copies a diskette to a diskette image file.  The image file is 
not compressed or truncated in any way.
RAWRITE copies a diskette image file to a diskette [e.g. an IBM Fixpack 
file like XR_C004.6DK]. The image file can be the same size as a 
diskette, or smaller.  If the image is smaller, the rest of the last 
used track is set to zeros, and the rest of the diskette is left untouched.

Hope that clears it up.
