=> Quoting Bill Oconnor (1:266/71) to John Howard on 26 Dec 94 09:47 <= BO> John, just thought I would let you know that I have recently BO> received the latest beta of Speed/2 (version 4) and it looks BO> terrific. BO> One of my my main concerns with the prior beta was that it did not BO> handle text-only run time modules. It now does that and a whole BO> lot more. I am very happy. BO> I have not done any extensive testing yet, but I plan to shortly. If it is not too much to ask, will you please post or email your evaluation. 1) Is it compatible with Borland Pascal 7.0? 2) Is it an Extended Pascal (ISO/IEC) 10206? 3) Does it use OS/2 System Object Model (SOM) for Objects? 4) Does it come with any source code libraries? 5) How can I get the latest copy? 6) How much does it cost? 7) Are there any recommended manuals? Thanks for the help! BTW, I just tried the GNU Pascal compiler for OS/2 and it is not usable yet because it is unfinished. It is at kampi.hut.fi:jtv/gnu-pascal as filename gpc-2.6.0-sep30.tar.gz which is 2990k uncompressed. Has entire source code. ... 50 pigs + 50 deer = 100 sows and bucks* Origin: Infinity (1:280/5) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 430 SEEN-BY: 711/807 808 809 934 942 949 712/353 515 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 280/5 1 396/1 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 808 809 934 |
