I bought my wife an AT&T Model 9100 900mhz cordless phone. Using my
frequency counter, I found the following:

Channel Base Handset
 1 902.3 925.05
 2 902.6 925.35
 3 902.9 925.65
 4 903.2 925.95
 5 903.5 926.25
 6 903.8 925.55
 7 904.1 926.85
 8 904.4 927.15
 9 904.7 927.45
10 905.0 927.75

This phone is said to have "Digital Voice Scrambling" and when I tried
to tune to these freqs on my scanner, I couldn't even detect a carrier!
It makes me wonder, if such an "anti-eavesdropping" technology is so
inexpensive that it can be incorporated into a consumer prducr, then why
aren't there more law enforcement agencies using it? Granted, I'd hate
to see ANYTHING on a radio frequency get scrambled, but with all the
folks in governemt whining about scanner listeners, it seems like they
could very easily eliminate the hobby.
