Hello All You Wonderful Scuzzy People

I am contemplating, No! No, not my Naval, upgrading my
SCSI Host Adapters to U160 capabilities.

I looking at what is being offered on eBay, I find a SCSI H A I
would like to get a little more info on.

This name of this file is: ITI6110U2-X

      1 External RJ-45 10/100 Ethernet Port
      1 External SCSI connector - 50 pin? 68 pin? U40? U80? U160?
      2 Internal 68 pin connectors
          1 Ultra2-LVD/SE
          1 ?
      1 Internal 50 pin connector

Here is what I need. I would like to do these and a NIC in two
slots.

The name of this file is: 3Host-Adapters-Needed

      1. Internal 50 Pin Bus -
      2. External 50 Pin Bus -
      3. External U160 Bus -

Don - check out item # 5735453317 (currently $19.99) on eBay.
It is: LSI Logic LSI 22915 Ultra160 SCSI Dual-Channel Adapter
I am using one of these and it works great. I have two external 50-pin
scanners on one of the channels and my hard drives on the other. This
HBA does not have 50-pin connectors. I use a cable with 68-pin to 50-pin
conversion between the HBA and the scanners.

I also have a LSI Logic SYM21002 HBA on another computer. This is also a
dual channel board, but has internal and external 50-pin connectors on
channel A. There are also some of these on eBay for $30, buy-it-now.
They are NOT U160, however, and the external bus is only 50-pin.

HTH
