ASUS isn't the only one with MB problems. I have an
ABIT MB - KG7 that will not work with XP PRO or 2000. The
case I am using has a 300W PS. I can install both XP or 2000
error free. On the first boot after installation it comes up
with "boot device unavailable" or words to that effect, but
will boot in safe mode. After about a half dozen tries with
each system I gave up - got a different MB. Still putting it
together in a new case.
