Port trapping is a standard feature of the 386 processor, which os/2 2.x
requires. Is is NOT POSSIBLE for a ring 3 program (a VDM or OS/2
application) to circumvent this 386 protection feature.

Period.

No one has stated that OS/2 viruses are not possible. They have stated
that all the techniques you have put forward will not work, and thus, this
has so far stalled the development of os/2 viruses. I know how to create
one, but I'm not about to encourage anyone by elaborating.

If you ignore any more of my warnings and post any more inflammatory
messages in OS2PROG, I am left with no choice but to start the proceedings
to have you removed from the nodelist, as this is the only remedy open to
me.
