We had a bit of argy-bargy this time around. At present, you can see
almost nothing but the Cross of St George on every single street -
something to do with football, I believe. There are probably several
hundred in the centre of Woodhouse.

The BNP is facing real problems generated by their recent election sucesses
- they're running out of nutters. There are not enough to go around and a
lot of the more recent appointees are a good deal more moderate.

Our fundamental problem at the moment is th lack of an electable
opposition. It amuses me to see the "socialist" monicker - what
we actually have is a nominally socialist government implementing some
policies (like identity cards) that most of us would consider right wing.
