Alcohol is metabolized by enzymes, several of them, as soon as we drink
it.  If they are missing or the supply is gone, then the process becomes
one where the alcohol is changed into different chemicals.  At that
point, the result is stored in body fat in the brain, liver, and other
organs.  Then the health problems begin.

Doesn't work on alcoholism...someone got that idea and it isn't true.
Also won't work on ADHD or ADD.

YUp. And it the base for the claim that wine is good for us.  The same
effect can be obtained from grape juice without the alcohol or from the
grape seed stuff which I take daily.
