Here'a another request to ALL, looking for opinions - I am almost sold on the 
Videonics MX-1 switcher, but wonder if any of you have personal experience 
with it......of particular interest are:
        
        Has Videonics fixed the muted color problem ?
        How well does it handle low quality sources ?
        How do the effects look ?
        Has the flickering in solid color fields been remedied ?
        
I'm basing these questions on a June 1994 test in Video magazine, and ohter 
than the problems listed above, I figure that it's a better investment than 
the Panasonic WJ-AVE7.  Anyone with comments regarding these machines, PLEASE 
post back - I need to submit my budget proposals by February 28 - THANKS In 
ADVANCE !!!!
