If you're talking Delphi 1.0, I used to run it under Windows for 
Workgroups with 8 megs RAM, and it worked reasonably well.  That was 
including a 2 meg VCACHE disk cache.  Virtual memory might work if he's 
got a lot of hard drive.  I had 40 megs in a permanent swap file at the 
time...
