Greetings from Azerbaijan.  Trip overall went very good.  BMED from London
to Baku was much better in almost every way from the United flight from
Washington DC to London.  Spending time now learning the faces and jobs of
all the people I will work with here.  Have 3 receptions in the next 4 days
to get acquainted.  Living in the Hyatt for now and hoping to move into the
house by June 5th.   We went through the house today and it looks
very nice.  Neighborhood is pretty good and feels safe. Within walking
distance many shops and a few restaurants.

Internet in thehotel is pretty slow and expensive so only on every few
days. Looks like I will be able to get DSL in the house, but won't know
until we get a regular phone line there first.

From a couple days at work this is going to be an interesting job at a very
interesting time in the region.  For now taking some time to get used to
speaking Russian.  Truthfully much easier to just get your point across
then the formal conversations that I did in school.  Probably supposed to
be that way.  I can see my grammar getting much worse, but my communication
skill getting much better.
