What bollox. Sorry but that is. 15 - 25 shot dead in cold blood by some
pissed off marines does not compare to 1 dead following a cockup but also
following agreed policy which directed them to take that action.
What makes this massacre even worse is that the soldiers are foreign
occupiers in a land where they are invaders & are seen to be.
Politically this will have large ramifications as frankly now the US mil
can really no longer pretend to be one of the "good guys". The
best they can hope for is "no worse than the average" i.e.
"we're better than Saddam's republican guard" which is like
limbo'ing under a major bridge.
