I haven't kept up with the model numbers.  Sams's Club and Walmart have 
special 
models built for them anyways.  Just be sure and get a "Hi-Fi" model.  The 
local 
Wal-Mart has a nice Panasonic Hi-Fi for $179.00.
BTW, you don't get VCRs that last 15 years for $179.00.   YMMV They are 
all 
sort of disposable products.  Panasonic is still the best though.
