The 50's came before them.  And, I graduated from St. Elizabeths
Hospital in 1951 BEFORE the widespread use of drugs in our society and
in our treatment of the mentally ill.
There were no tranquilizers at the time I was a student nurse at St.E's.
We used wet sheet packs and other forms of hydro therapy to sedate
patients.

did the work on food supplements for ADHD and ADD is Dr. Terry Neher who
can be found today in Kent, Washington.
Pycnogenol is not one of the items on the list of things in his mixture.
