Nowadays getting sons and daughters into a good university not only takes a high grade point average, it takes lots of $$. My son tells me that it's costing him around $60,000 per year to keep the first daughter in a good school. The state run (public) universities are booked solid for several years ahead. And even they have raised tuition and living expenses. It's certainly not like when you and I attended. I remember complaining about the $2000 per year I had to pay. :) Regards. --- Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/2* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
