Hello Alan -

JH>> Looks to me like _maybe_ that $230 plus about $20 shipping
JH>> from TigerDirect _could_ be a good deal for someone
JH>> looking to upgrade all at once, and avoiding a lot of
JH>> "pieces and parts" type hassles. Attach a monitor, and off
JH>> you go. Even if you _hate_ the Lindows operating system,
JH>> could start over with clean-out and a Winders load.

If you look closely you can find HP 1.4ghz machines with larger
drives, floppy, CD-R, and Windows Home XP on them for about
$140 more. A much more useful system for 'joe average'.

The monitor is not included with the Lindows machine and if you
examine what hardware is there you realize it's more of a
workstation than a standalone machine.
