To maybe help you see something that your compiler will accept (assuming you
aren't using BORLAND) take a scan at the C_ECHO. I posted one of these 'The
compiler accepts it' examples just today. But the results are far from what
you want..
My Amiga compiler didn't choke on it and the author of the example claims
ONLY a borland compiler chokes anything out on it.
The simple fix was changing it to static data.
