Too bad about the hdd.  But I am sure you will implement a backup  
procedure, just in case.  Explore the option to boot from an external hdd
if ever the internal one fails to cooperate.

I bought my first 500gb hdd (external) in February.  Now I just need to get
into a habit of backing things up.
