I finally got the BIOS upgraded. I wass the guilty one, I had a saved BIOS file.bin and I was using this one as the working.bin and thus only redoing the same BIOS set up over and over. When I noticed that there was nother .bin on the USB drive and used it, the upgrade was done, to my dismay, no 4 Gs seen still. I am convinced that the BIOS is the stump, looking at it after Del on booting, still as ever, shows 3 Gs. Diagonal reading first ot this URL, did not produce a solution yet. --- Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 (Windows/20090812)* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
