   I don't know anything about the specific product you describe, but
   Amway used to sell a rust remover that worked like a charm.  The big
   catch is they too seem to have discontinued it some time ago.  I know
   it was a somewhat common chemical - but I can't remember the name.  I
   also remember being told that under certain conditions it could be
   explosive - which may be why it's no longer being sold.
