Yu are confused by the USB1.1 *ohcd and the *uhcd types, of which it is
the one OR the other indeed.
usbehcd (e stands for "enhanced") is USB2.00, and usually you need
usbehcd AND usbohcd (AMD mobo type) OR usbuhcd (intel mobo type).

Only, it's hard if not impossible to guess which which connector (mind
the single) stands for which ports (mind the plural).
For the usbohcd AND usbuhcd types you need as much entries in the
config.sys as there are ports.

Certainly not. Of course, when you disable USB the phantom drives might
vanish too, but disabling USB isn't the aim I think.
