Bad ground(s). Pull the cluster, look for and check that all ground
connections are solid.  If space permits, one could add an extra ground wire
for good measure.  It would be advisable to have an electrical diagram if
your not that fluent in electrics. We wouldn't want to add a ground wire to
a 12volt line. =)
