I can confirm that the WL-330G does work with eCS and does NOT require
windows to set it up.
I have been trying to get my T21 to connect wirelessly for some time
now. Despite trying 2 different cards that others have reported to work
I could not get it to work. When I saw the talk about the WL-330g I
decided to try it.
The only problem I had was it came with the old firmware so the html was
corrupted on the client side. Once I downloaded the firmware upgrade
zip file and let the browser find it the client worked fine.
So far I have used it to connect to my Linksys wireless router with
encryption with no problem. There are no access points around where I
live so I will have to wait until I go to work tomorrow to try acessing
a public access point.
So bottom line is, don't be afraid of this thing if you don't have
Windows. I don't have Windows on the notebook and I did not use the
setup program on a different machine with Windows on it.
Regards, Jim
