DAMN!  I didn't know Ken, but I considered Randy a very good friend of
mine.  My wife and I were just yesterday laughing about his stay with us
in the Valley several years ago.
I'd loaned him my little Opel to get around in, and it was a real Carbon
Monoxide generator.  Randy came in grumbling one morning, it was
actually COLD in the Valley, bundled up like an eskimo.  He explained
that he'd just driven from Brownsville to Weslaco with all the windows
open. "Elvis, the way that thing leaks carbon monoxide, it it was an
airplane I'd GROUND it."
He will be missed.  He was a really good pilot, a great instructor, and
an all round wonderful person......
