You're joking, of course, but it is nice to hear the music the
way I've wanted to hear it for many decades now. 

Using a good WAV editor, I use GoldWave, allows you to perform
some of the manipulations of a recording studio to enlarge the
size of the 'room', level out frequencies, and adjust prior to
compression into an MP3 to avoid heavy losses at certain
frequencies.
