   Well, Day, at last I know that to which you're referring when you use the
term.  I thought I was something of a part-trekkie but that referred 
rimarily
to the original series.  Does this refer to that series or to the "New
Generation?"  I've not seen too many episodes of the latter.  I catch a lot 
f
these things later in re-runs but age is creeping up on me.
   I'll have to ponder your description before commenting.
