My last week has been real fun. Started tuesday and at the end of shift had
semi #1 rear end a van, push it into back of semi#2, pushing semi#2 into a
ar
and pickup. Pickup takes off, van explodes into a ball of flame destroying
the
semi tractor and burning three occupants to death. Spent the rest of the
eek
rebuilding the burned trucks brake system to determine if equipment
malfunction
was at fault.
Pickup driver who took off (injured by the way) left the scene 'cause his
license was suspended. Driver of semi#1 agrees to voluntary blood, gives it
via
the aid crew, then disappears. Showed up on thursday (accident occurred
tuesday)
to talk to detectives.
We all have them weeks, makes the job interesting, but tiring :)
