what other fish are in it?  what are your water paremeters as in ph,
ammonia, nitrite adn nitrate?  what size tank is he in? the fish will lose
his color if he is overly stressed or if hes really old adn gettin ready to
die.  keep in mind that siamese fighting fish live 3 to 4 yrs.
