You are confusing the issue by using the word "drivers" when it
is NOT the actual printer driver itself doing the print preview outside of
an application, it is the printer's supporting software.

If you got your terms straight, maybe there wouldn't be more rampant confusion.

As for your offer, I'll pay you money if you come over here and find a
"print preview" option in my system's driver, not some
application, for my Panasonic KX-P2624 (136-column, 24-pin) dot matrix
printer.
