Unless they just got a supercomputer that can crack PGP/GPG, it's not
"all forms" of communications that they can intercept.  I'm not
surprised about Skype-the US government has long complained about Skype's
call encryption but since Gates and Co. bought Skype they've since removed
the encryption so Uncle Sam can spy on you easier.
