It's a bit easier doing your own work.  Anyhow, I hate doing any kind 
of body work.  I enjoy doing the mechanical types of maintance rather 
than the "cosmetic".

My skipper has a stern line that he has marked off.  He uses that as 
a brake.  We often sail up to the dock.  Even under power, he cuts 
his motor some 50 yrds before the dock...

As I'm going to try and be competetive, I'll be waxing it far more 
often.  Besides, I've got one crewmember (my daughter!) who may 
take over that task for me.   :)

You and me both!  BTW, there have been some boats out on the 
bay over the last 3-4 days.  I either need to get a good 
wetsuit or a bit bigger boat so that I can join them!
