myself, so I can't guarantee it works, or even that how I understand it works 
is actually correct, but: 
The Warp 4 TCP/IP stack has SOCKS4 support built in, so once you configure it 
(with TCPCFG, I think) all TCP/IP applications are automagically 
"socksified". I'm assuming it is similar to what Hummingbird has done with 
their socksified version of wsock32.dll for Win32, once installed and 
configured all Winsock apps are automagically socksified. As far as I know 
the SOCKS support in Warp4 is SOCKS4, I have no idea if IBM intends to 
support SOCKS5, though I don't see why they wouldn't, eventually.
