Yeah. What you're looking at here are "golf cart" type batteries, which are
big 6 volt units with sort of marine-style terminals. They're usually in the
neighborhood of around $60.00 each, and most vehicles that require them want
a set of four or six.

How can you tell when the batteries are gone? Or do you mean that they're in
there but no good?

This seems awfully short to me, but might be the case when you're talking
about something that's been neglected, or if the batteries were just plain
wore out.
