While discussing the paradoxes involved in using Christians as lightning
conductors on church steeples, James Collins said this about Good Amiga BBSs

 G'day James,

MO>> Mate, you ain't wrong. I think I near sent half the blokes in here
MO>> 'round the twist with questions about AmiTCP. :-)

JC> Well without the Manual that commercial version has, it took me
JC> months to sort it out. I got it working. Things were looking good! I

So they reckon mate. The manual would make things ALOT easier. Still, I
think that when the time comes when I get a PPP connection I'll probably go
with Miami instead. I installed it once for the hell of it and had it ready
to dial out within ten minutes without even a cursory look at the docs. Damn
easy, unlike AmiTCP.

JC> turned the machine off that night, next I turned it on - Nothing. The
 JC> wretched Amiga had died!!!

:-(( I'll bet more than harsh words were spoken mate. ;-)

JC> Running an Ariadne Network card, and Telnetable from a central number!

What's your address? I can telnet in from Verbal Verbatim next time I'm on.
(Hi Shaun!) Assuming of course that the Internet gets fixed soon. I can't
access 95% of the sites in my hotlist for some reason, especially yahoo.com

:-(

JC> Call 07-5426-8580 sometime and try it!

Umm... 5426? Shouldn't that be 3426? Gimme the right number and I'll ring
you mate. :-)
