-> RJT> remember that I never quite got the whole way through it. They were -> RJT> about the size of phone books in those days. -> These days they're a *lot* thinner, but they're coming with a -> CD-ROM that presumably contains the ads. I haven't bought one in the -> new format. Has anyone else here? I subscribe but haven't recieved the version containing the Cd yet. And I just recieved the December Issue last week. -> There's booms and busts in any sub-genre of magazines over the -> years. A pity that survivorship through the bust cycle isn't more -> directly related to quality. Lately it seems it has ben mosltly busts. 4 or 5 of the Computer Magazines I used to read regualrly are now GONE. In fact I am recieving Time magazine for 7 months as the result of one of them Very Recently disappearing. I mostly enjoy PC World and Computer Shopper. Computer Shopper orr the Ads, Which are less and less as the magazine shrinks. And I find the Comparisions in Computer World quite informantiave.. Now for some Reqal Hard Core Testing and comments one needs to check sopme of the Web Sites. I have found Tom's Hardware(NO relation) to be quite good and detailed on what they review. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 10/3 345 20/11 102/943 105/360 106/1 2 3 1234 2000 116/35 123/500 SEEN-BY: 124/5025 128/187 130/803 140/1 143/2 150/220 154/15 167/133 201/505 SEEN-BY: 226/600 229/1000 2000 3000 249/116 266/12 267/200 280/5003 333/0 SEEN-BY: 379/1 1200 396/45 633/267 270 712/848 2404/201 2624/306 3634/12 SEEN-BY: 3800/1 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 1 379/1 633/267 |
