My husband and I do not cook a Christmas dinner. He is a diabetic, so
we don't get too much of a good smell in the kitchen. We go out to
dinner on Christmas to the home of one of our children. We leave
Christmas day dinner to each of them to spend at their own home or with
the "other" side. Our whole family...8 kids and their better halves
plus 11 grandchildren...will all be home on Dec 28th. This is the day
I plan for. There is no turkey, but a lot of delicious dishes just the
same.
