subject: Old system !

-> In this line of thought, you should have seen the "Checkbook"
-> PRG on the C=128. Had all what was required. And so simple too.
-> I only got less and less use of this system when I got to do
->         digital photoes.

-> Quicken is SO heavy as compared to Checkbook. I have not used it
-> yet, only had a look.

 Because ALL of the Currently availble check book programs are SO
BLOATED with Usless stuff for the "Ordinary " person I am still using a
DOS Shareware program called "Express Check" from a small outfit up in
Readmond Washington. They also had three very nice companion programs
called File Express, Express Calc(Spreadsheet), And Express Graph. I
played with all three of them also but Really Fell into Love with
Express Check. It was not Y2K compatable using only two digits for the
year but I just started a New Check book register on Jan 1 2000 and
things are fine. I keep 1989 to 1999 on the computer for reference but
the day is long past now that I have any need to look back that far.
