The early missionaries had a similar problem explaining how they ate the
body and blood of Christ.

I remember hearing an explanation of how the official list of hurricane and
typhoon names had to be vetted.

By coincidence, my morning paper had a story about how the DMVs have to
maintain lists of possibly-offensive vanity license plate requests. I was
amazed at how clever some people can be when expressing their sexual,
religious, political, and racial preferences/prejudices.
