Whoop-dee-shit.  Refunding a $20 registration fee and giving you NOTHING
to replace the value of the gun that you registered in good faith.  Some
of those rifles undoubtedly cost well in excess of $1,000.

That's the equivalent of the People's Republic of China dropping its
policy of charging the families of executed political prisoners for the
ammo used to shoot them.

BFD.  The rifles are being taken from people AGAINST THEIR WILL.  People
who bought them LEGALLY, and made every reasonable effort to comply with
the law.

What ever happened to the federal protection against ex post facto law?
 Isn't that in the Constitution somewhere, or has everybody forgotten
