I believe Hume was limited by his "mind-time" in history which
reflects "some of" his associated leanings to observe........
1. The term, "cannot" is awkward when approaching unknown logic
systems.
2. "Evil" is an under simplified term of convenience (heavy on
instinct and emotions) and not yet available as a serious
component of reasoning..... ;;
3. Even "omnipotent" & "benevolent" sounded better of meaning
a century ago.
