BJ-> What is probably happening is your commandline for the DL is set to
-> 38400, instead of reading the logon speed. How you'd need to change it
-> depends on the BBS software, and the DL driver you're using. In
-> Proboard, using DSZ.com, I had to put a %B in the commandline to pass
-> the baud rate, and also had to put an 'estimate' command in, I've
-> forgotten the exact structure, but it's in the DSZ text file.
Ok, so from what you say there isn't much possibility that it is
anything to do directly with the modem settings but rather either the
command line for the protocol driver or fossil driver.
