BH>I can't seem to find what's wrong with the following:

BH>/*Start */
BH>call RxFuncAdd  'SysLoadFuncs', 'RexxUtil', 'SysLoadFuncs'
BH>call SysLoadFuncs

BH>/* Open file for read & write */
BH>   IF STREAM('F:\VXREXX\TEST.TXT','C','OPEN') == 'READY:' THEN
BH>   DO

The comparison opertor for "equals" in REXX is = , not ==.

BH> /* Position at current end of file */
BH>      CALL STREAM('F:\VXREXX\TEST.TXT','C','SEEK <0')

Also, when you "CALL" a procedure, don't use parenthesis. You
only use parens
when you call it as a function which returns a value to a variable or an
expression (As in you "IF" statement above.)

Hope this helps.

BTW when I first started using REXX I also had trouble writing things like in
'C'. Got me every time. I can switch back and forth just fine now though.
